Quay 8 Hotel - Londonderry

The location was super convenient-close to shops and restaurants, which made grabbing food a breeze! The self-catering setup was a huge plus too, as I could whip up some breakfast whenever I wanted. Plus, the staff were friendly and really helpful, especially when I arrived late and needed directions!

My room was on the ground floor, and it was pretty noisy. The traffic outside kept me awake, plus the laundry room next door woke me up earlier than I'd like. Honestly, a toaster in the room would’ve been nice too—missing that slice of toast! It wasn't the worst stay, but definitely some room for improvement.

Its location was very central, 900 feet from Guildhall Street. Besides, we were next to the city centre, close to many nice places to see in Derry and bars so clean comfy and restaurants.

Most of the staffs were attentive.

The location of this hotel is unbeatable! You're just a short stroll away from shops, restaurants, and all the main attractions. I also loved the little kitchenette in my room; it had everything I needed for a cozy holiday stay, and the comfortable bed made it easy to relax after a long day of exploring.

Now, onto the downsides. The noise was seriously a buzzkill—traffic and people talking outside kept waking me up at night! Plus, if you're not super fit, that steep hill leading up to the hotel is a workout with luggage. Lastly, the self-check-in system felt a bit odd without staff around. mixed feelings!

The hotel was comfortable with particularly good and absolutely perfect location to bars etc. Location: the property was next to the centre of Derry, the alley at nighttime and the shop below. We stayed for 1 night here, loved Walled City district.

Our room was beautifully maintained and complete with crockery as well as microwave. And the facilities were great.

The cozy kitchenette made meal prep easy, and both rooms had adjustable heating. The central location allowed us to explore local landmarks like the Bloody Sunday Memorial and City Walls, enhancing our family time. Comfy beds and thoughtful touches, like chocolates, made our stay relaxing. Highly recommend!

we appreciated the hotel and londonderry, had 6 amazing days there. after a long drive the great and lovely staff was waiting for us. brilliant location of the venue right in the heart of the city.

Parking can be tricky. The public car parks aren't too far, but it's something to consider if you're driving. My room was next to a major road, leading to noticeable noise during weekend nights-good luck sleeping without earplugs. Plus, the rooms are on the smaller side, so if you like more space, you might want to look elsewhere.

Room 5 was an ideal space for a solo traveler, cozy with a small kitchen area that was handy. The stylish decor and warmth from the heating added comfort, although some might find it tight for two. The absence of breakfast options was a slight drawback, but enjoying the delicious Manchego ratatouille made up for it.

The TV had zero functionality, leaving channels and apps unavailable, frustrating. Rooms felt smaller than the photos suggested, and the claimed air conditioning turned out to be just a fan. Getting breakfast was confusing. The lack of clear instructions meant I had to dig for info and then leave the premises to enjoy what was supposed to be included.

It's located right in the middle of everything. The double room with a private bathroom was cozy and clean. We really appreciated the helpful service from the staff.
